HURRICANE IRMA UPDATE SEPT 14, 2017
We are so pleased with the expeditious manner and sense of community which has been experienced over the past week. The people of Providenciales have shown an amazing sense of helping and working together to start rebuilding from the damage of Hurricane Irma. Our infrastructure and utility providers and Government in Turks and Caicos have been incredible. Providenciales International Airport is open to commercial flights and so many sections of 'Provo' now have power and running water. Many of our major resorts, grocery stores and gas stations, are 'open for business'.
This exemplifies our infrastructure and the quality of our construction that stood up to the magnitude of Irma. We can send this clear message to the World that investors should continue to have confidence in the Turks and Caicos Islands, our real estate and our tourism business.
Reef Residences will be open for business by October 1st 2017
We hope to see you all soon!
Management Reef Residences
We would like to let you know that we were so lucky and fortunate to fare so well after Hurricane Irma. None of our buildings or suites at Reef Residences were damaged and there was no flooding other than our parking lot.
We are working on cleaning up the landscaping and trees, which took a beating, but expect that to be completed in short order. We want you to know that we will be back in ship shape by October 1st, 2017 subject to utilities. We are getting regular progress reports from Fortis and Provo Water. Our staff have been amazing through all of this and they are working diligently to clean up all the debris. We expect to have the major services back and running within the next weeks
We will be starting up a GO FUND ME PAGE for our staff if anyone wants to help out that would be the best way to donate to them. Many of the wood framed homes and apartments lost roofs and siding and the people will need to rebuild many residential facilities.
We will update our progress every few days so please come back to view
